Waiting List Information

Due to the high level of care provided at Westminster Village, incoming residents must often wait for an apartment to become available before moving in.  In an effort to make this waiting process as seamless as possible, we encourage you to consider joining our waiting list for Independent Living apartments and Assisted Living apartments.  We offer two different waiting list options to best fit your future retirement timeline.  The first option, our Regular Waiting List, is for individuals who are not ready to move into Westminster Village just yet, but know that down the road, this is where they’d like to live.  The Regular Waiting List requires a completed Application for Residency along with a $200 refundable deposit.  The second option, our Priority Waiting List, is for individuals who are ready to move into Westminster Village either immediately or in the near future.  The Priority Waiting List requires a completed Application for Residency along with a refundable deposit equal to 1-month’s rent in the size of apartment desired.  Individuals who are on our Regular Waiting List and are now ready to move into Westminster Village may upgrade to the Priority Waiting List by increasing their $200 refundable deposit to equal one-month’s rent in the size of apartment desired.  This allows the individual to join the Priority Waiting List and bring with them the date they originally joined the Regular Waiting List.  When an apartment becomes available, the Marketing & Sales Department will begin offering the apartment to members of the Priority Waiting List starting with the oldest waiting list date for the size of apartment available.  Once individuals on the waiting list accept an apartment, the waiting list deposit is credited towards the apartment security deposit.  To be removed from the waiting list, a written request for a refund of a waiting list deposit may be sent to Westminster Village (Attn: Marketing Director) and a 100% refund of the waiting list deposit will be promptly processed.

Individuals who are interested in The Willows Duplexes may join The Willows Waiting List as well.  A completed Application for Residency along with a $1,500 refundable deposit is required.  Once a duplex becomes available, all members of The Willows Waiting List will be notified of its availability along with open house & re-lease details.  Individuals on The Willows Waiting List will have the first opportunity to view the available duplex and make an offer before the duplex is made available to the general public.
